Role Overview:

The Graduate Intern, Tax Data Management & Innovation, will play a key role in developing the Tax function using technology. In addition, this position will assist in identifying the technology needs of Tax to support our businesses and the rapidly changing external tax regulatory landscape.

This role will be an integral part of the TDMI Special Projects/Advisory team. It will focus on developing and enhancing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Alteryx and creating dashboards and automation workflows in Microsoft Power Apps. This hands-on role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about tax technology, data management, and process optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and implementing ETL workflows in Alteryx for various tax-related projects.
  • Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps to support tax compliance and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tax, Technology, Finance) to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with project goals.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Document processes, maintain project logs, and assist in creating training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc tasks related to special projects and tax technology initiatives.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing (or recently graduated within 6 months) a Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related major OR
  • Recently graduated (within 6 months) with a Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related major OR
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics, or other related major within one year of graduation.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Program Details:

  • Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members, this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members, this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record, clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
  • Program Dates: Interns must be fully available from February through August 2025.
  • Required Materials: Resumes and transcripts must be uploaded during the online application.
  • Housing: A limited number of housing units are available for Florida-based participants. Once they have accepted an internship offer, interns can sign up for housing.
  • Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of their internship program.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
