JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Insights & Analytics to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the evolving entertainment landscape, including direct-to-consumer platforms. They will be well versed in research methodologies, data analysis, and the use of data science to drive insights, as well as a strong business acumen. This role will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization, identifying insights and trends, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth. They will be instrumental in partnering with internal stakeholders to constantly upgrade Insight generation capabilities.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Direct-to-Consumer research and analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.

  • Design and execute Direct-to-Consumer testing, pricing, conversion rates, churn, cohorts, and segmentation studies.

  • Lead partnership with Technology stakeholders to ensure highest quality technical support of Insight goals.

  • Analyze or supervise the analysis of large datasets using advanced statistical techniques and tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations.

  • Develop predictive models and conduct forecasting to support business planning and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, marketing, product, and finance, to identify research needs and provide actionable insights.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and analytics trends, methodologies, and technology, and incorporate them into the organization's practices.

  • Present research findings and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Manage research and analytics budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Proven track record of successfully driving data-driven decision-making and delivering impactful insights for a Direct-to-Consumer entity.

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

  • Experience with technology platforms, data modeling, and data visualization tools such as Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a curious and analytical mindset.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $140,000.00-181,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
