Position Summary

Job Summary

The Sr. Graphic Designer leads & develops innovative and creative branding elements with a focus on designing digital and video marketing materials. This position will work directly with creative, social, and brand teams to concept designs and build out layouts for various brand campaigns, vendors, publications, and Franchisee requests. This position translates marketing objectives into user experiences that are engaging, with an emphasis on implementation with integrated marketing campaigns that span digital, print, social, traditional media, and mobile focused deliverables.

Graphic Design
  • Develops and implements design solutions to ensure cohesive messaging and consistency across all consumer-facing media.
  • Directs and/or assists with ticket requests, photoshoots, video production, and other stages of the creative development or production process.
  • Collaborates with team members to determine the layout and messaging of creative solutions aligns with the creative brief, business need, and target guest needs.
  • Develops branding elements from concept to pre-press and production for various marketing campaigns and media including digital, outdoor, print, social media, collateral and print on demand promotional materials, and in-store signage
  • Completion of art requests in compliance with brand standards that are met on time and within budget
  • Documents, evaluates and executes stylistic rules appropriate for the brand, the medium, and audience, including color, type, and logo usage according to overall brand guidelines and design standards.
  • Performs print production tasks, including but not limited to asset management, proof reading and preparing files for print or color correction for error-free deliverables.

Video

  • Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload to FTP.
  • Create and follow a script/outline, create a final cut.
  • Input sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music, writing and directing voice-overs.
  • Digitally splice film and video and synchronize into one rough cut tile.
  • Improve and correct lighting, color, and faulty footage as needed.
  • Develop a library of projects of both in-studio and on-location shoots.
  • Develop content including weekly episodic pieces, celebrity interviews, short films, commercials, social media marketing campaigns and 0:30/0:60 promotional spots.
  • Manage/support all stages of development, pre-production, production, post-production, delivery and marketing of media content.
  • Demonstrate expertise in behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure production events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop a highly engaging social media presence; assist in building a high-quality network of followers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.
  • Evaluate video footage, choosing quality shots and assembling the footage into a coherent viewpoint to tell a story.
  • Continue to learn and exhibit good/current knowledge of video editing software, as well as sound artistic judgment.
  • Manage studio & equipment (i.e. set up, breakdown, storage).


Support & Communication

  • Provide support, rationale, and assets
  • Monitors the timing, integrity, and quality of deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion through the ticketing system
  • Supports creative decisions with strategic rationale
  • Documents work in a timely manner and within proper archival protocol for team access
Maintain dialogue/relationship with existing vendors


Skills and Abilities

  • 5+ years' graphic design experience
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects a plus
  • Restaurant or franchise industry experience desired
  • Ability and willingness to work in a Dallas based office. This role does not offer a relocation package
  • Previous experience managing a team desired but not required
