Job Description
Visa is seeking an experienced designer to support product marketing and sales enablement for Risk and Identity Solutions, a core area of focus within Visa. The Sr. Designer role will support key internal stakeholders and projects.
This role requires someone with world-class design skills across multiple mediums from print to digital, static to motion. This person should be willing to smartly challenge the status quo to reach an end goal of a fresh, user-friendly, and modern design standard. Our creative should be bold, relevant, and cut through the noise in today’s world of content and creative inundation.
Essential Functions
- Production of new and existing content, supporting on-brand guides and templates where needed.
- Sample asset types: Presentation materials (PowerPoint), conference events, infographics, animation, motion graphics, video, interactive demos.
Full stack video production
Visual and narrative design through creative storytelling
Extending visual systems/brand guidelines across all mediums
Communicating complex product and technical topics in an easy-to-understand visual way
Design content with users and humans at the forefront.
Outstanding art direction and design experience across a variety of media including digital, social, collateral, print, events, video. Clean, modern design that presents well in a Fintech world.
Knowledge of how to define scalable structures and tell stories with wireframes and user flows.
Follow animation best practices and contribute motion standards to our design system for use cases where none exist.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Years of Experience: 7+ years of professional design experience, with a focus on product marketing and sales enablement.
- Tools and Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Sketch, Figma, and other relevant design tools. Experience with motion graphics software is a plus.
- Design Skills: Strong skills in print, digital, static, and motion design. Expertise in visual storytelling, infographics, animation, video production, and motion graphics.
- Industry Knowledge: Optional experience in the Fintech industry or a related field, with an understanding of Fintech design aesthetics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to explain complex product and technical topics visually. Comfortable presenting to large groups.
- Creativity and Innovation: Proven ability to challenge the status quo and develop modern, user-friendly design standards.
- Branding and Guidelines: Ability to extend visual systems and brand guidelines across all mediums. Experience in creating on-brand guides and templates.
- Animation: Knowledge of animation best practices and ability to contribute to motion standards within a design system.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 99,700 to 142,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
