About the Role & Program

Would you like to gain a deeper understanding of customer information management? Then this opportunity is for you! We are looking for a highly organized intern to join us as we optimize the value of customer data for use in building direct customer relationships and delivering relevant customer experiences across The Walt Disney Company’s brands and businesses globally. If selected for this role, you will be led by the Sr Mgr, Program Management & CX.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from January 2025 - June 2025.

What You Will Do

As an intern, you will support partners across the company and help establish data practices, policies, and capabilities to collect, use, and share data in support of business objectives, while maintaining appropriate consumer data practices. On any given day, you might:

  • Review Disney business unit email promotions for brand and legal compliance
  • Coordinate with business unit partners on marketing and data quality initiatives
  • Develop and lead regular reporting and analytics on project critical metrics
  • Coordinate and maintain guideline documentation and update guest-facing privacy content
  • Research customer information practices and user experience of other online properties
  • Develop documentation and testing strategies for projects in development to improve guests’ online experience

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Upbeat self-starter who takes initiative - able to balance multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint)
  • Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication
  • Curiosity about improving guest experience through personalization and fair information practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or familiarity with privacy issues, online registration, and email marketing

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Currently enrolled or graduated within the past six months majoring in business, communications, technology, or a closely related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 – June 2025, in Burbank, CA
  • Full availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work
