Position Summary: Performs frequent filming, photography, and editing, and creates motion graphics and other special visuals using After Effects and other programs for the NYU College of Dentistry’s many social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn—which set the tone for how prospective and current students, faculty, and administrators view NYU College of Dentistry. Use creative storytelling and visual effects to help showcase campus life and events, and highlight the academic work and achievements of faculty, students, and alumni. Serve as producer and editor for the College’s “3-Minute Mondays!” weekly video series featuring innovation, education, research, and community at NYU College of Dentistry. Review data analytics to develop strategies for enhancing engagement across our many new communications and social media admissions recruitment platforms and will help look for industry trends and dynamic new ways to tell stories primarily for the College’s admissions marketing and recruitment channels. Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years experience in multimedia communications, social media management, and content production or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Multimedia content production skills, including filming, editing, sound mixing, color correcting. Experience using camera equipment and film editing tools. Ability to produce content appropriate in length and style for a range of marketing and recruitment strategies, including on social media, College websites, and in live presentations. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $79,200.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
