Job Summary:

The Associate Manager, Merchandise E-commerce will support the development and execution of our ecommerce strategy, with a strong emphasis on China ecommerce platforms. This role is required to work closely with various parties to ensure a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute merchandising plans to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue on our own channel and China ecommerce platforms.

  • Formulate assortment planning based on overall Merchandise revenue plan, monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external Trade Partner & 3rd party platform partners to secure necessary resources and ensure successful execution of operational plans.

  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews. Identify and implement best practice for user experience on ecommerce platforms to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and to enhance our market position. Summarize learnings and suggestions for improvement on a regular basis and provide insights and recommendations to internal & external teams.

  • Work closely with Marketing team and 3rd Party to maximize exposure for each product launch.

  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews. Identify and implement best practice for user experience on ecommerce platforms to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, preferably with a focus on Tmall or similar platforms

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Working knowledge of merchandise system, data mining and spreadsheet

  • Experience in China ecommerce operations, including policies, tools, and best practices

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
