Ready to dive into the captivating world of franchise planning? We’re on the lookout for a hard-working and dynamic Franchise Planning and Operations Intern to join our team. This part-time internship is from January through June 2025. You’ll join the team leading the charge in bringing to life a broad spectrum of dynamic projects, engaging communications, and inspiring collaboration initiatives!

What You Will Do

As our intern, your role is all about helping us craft the future of our iconic franchises and programs. You'll help us:

  • Support and facilitate high-level franchise and program planning while meticulously adhering to brand guidelines, ensuring a continuous alignment of strategies and execution of initiatives.
  • Coordinate and plan cross-functional meetings, ensuring various department collaborations.
  • Build and develop engaging presentations to convey our brand and franchise strategies.
  • Summarize and report on relevant insights from weekly reports, helping to drive data-based decisions.
  • Chip in with copywriting efforts, including crafting internal brand communications and creating compelling content for licensing initiatives.
     

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Copywriting Skills: Rock-solid copywriting skills to craft engaging content.
  • Masterful Communication: We're looking for candidates with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Command of Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation Creation: Proficiency in crafting presentations in Keynote.
  • Meticulously Organized: Your organization skills and unwavering attention to detail will ensure that no detail goes unnoticed, making you an invaluable asset to our team.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marvel Enthusiast: While not a strict requirement, a genuine curiosity about and knowledge of the world of Marvel is a bonus.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Skills: Having design skills with tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat is highly sought after for presentations.
     

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
     

Additional Education

  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year
  • Major or previous coursework in Business, Brand, or related marketing preferred
     

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
     

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule Monday through Thursday, for the duration of the internship, up to 28 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York City area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.00 per hour.
