The Roles

VYPE Live is searching for part-time Play-by-Play announcers and Producers to help us capture high school, college and youth-level athletic events all across Texas. Candidates must have a passion for sports and a solid grasp of the rules and nuances of the specific sport. We desire broadcasters who played the sport at the high school level or above, although this isn't a requirement. Experience announcing and/or producing audio events is highly desired but not required.

Play-by-Play candidates need an energetic delivery, a quick wit, and a thorough understanding of the game.

We’re also looking for on-site Producers. The producers set up and operate audio and video equipment with the help of our remote QA team. Those hired will be trained by our broadcast professionals. The announcer and producer will team together to form a broadcast crew. Color commentators may be assigned for select game. We will provide training for all positions.

These are part-time, contractor jobs. Interested parties should reply with their name, phone number, email address, relevant experience and general availability. You must be available to work Friday night and occasionally on a Thursday or Saturday for football, as well as Tuesday nights for volleyball and other sports.

Requirements:

• Sports knowledge and an enthusiasm for the game.
• Have your own reliable transportation.
• Must be available to travel within the Houston Area
• Able to follow detailed instructions on our methods and training.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Demonstrate forethought and attention to details.
• Organized and self-disciplined.
