Job Description

The Media Assets Manager leads our Production Studio's asset management operation, directing premium content development across broadcast, digital, social, radio, and brand activation channels. This strategic role architects end-to-end media workflows while protecting Allstate's intellectual property across all deliverables. The position oversees a comprehensive media library spanning broadcast, video, audio, motion design, and photography assets. Beyond core media management, this versatile role demands hands-on production capabilities in video editing and motion design, while supporting studio operations through project management and live event production. This dynamic position partners with Creative and Consumer Marketing teams to optimize production workflows while providing expertise to elevate creative output. The Media Assets Manager reports to the Executive Producer, Production Studio. The Media Assets Manager is a hybrid role collaborating nearly daily on-site in Chicago, IL.

  • Champion Production Studio Operational Excellence:
  • Solve diverse daily studio operations projects through hands-on leadership
  • Design and implement industry-standard production workflows
  • Technology and Procurement business partner integration
  • Real-time project management tool tracking
  • Production resource optimization and efficiency


  • Orchestrate Content Lifecycle and Creative Workflow:
  • Media ingest, transcoding, and asset management
  • Format delivery and quality assurance protocols
  • Secure creative content distribution and archiving
  • Post-production pipeline optimization
  • Rights clearance and usage compliance
  • Premium content packaging and delivery


  • Execute Video Editing, Motion Design and Production Support:
  • Collaborate with Producers and Creative leaders on content development
  • Craft compelling video and motion design content for social/digital media, brand activations and internal communications
  • Create precise title slates
  • Deliver high-impact creative assets on deadline
  • Design efficient creative and livestream content workflows
  • Occasionally drive technical direction for corporate broadcast live events

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The job may manage some non-supervisory contractors, consultants and/or temps.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; may also have advanced degree
  • national TV/top local market production environment or internal creative department in a consumer marketing organization as well.

  • Professional video editing (Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer)
  • Motion design (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)

  • Mac/Windows/Linux hardware and administration

Advanced Production Studio Technology:

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $85,600.00 - 152,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
