Job Title: Temp, Editorial and Marketing Coordinator

Topsify, a Warner Music Group sub-brand, is the destination for exceptional music playlists, content and streaming innovations, and strategies spanning global hits to new releases across all genres.
Topsify teams use data-driven playlist strategies to connect artist marketing and streaming revenue, driving fan engagement and discovery for WMG artists. By integrating dynamic and fixed playlists into global campaigns, we contribute to consistent streaming growth, revenue, and success for our artists.
Your role:
As the Editorial and Marketing Coordinator (Temp), you’ll be an integral member of the US Topsify team, reporting to the Editorial and Marketing Senior Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include playlist curation and delivery, social media management, label relations, and marketing support across major streaming platforms. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with teams across the business.
This role provides a chance to play a key role in developing streaming strategies and playlist marketing for a major label, opportunities to work with talented, creative professionals, hands-on experience at the forefront of digital marketing and music brand innovation, and a dynamic and supportive environment that values growth, collaboration, and creativity
Here you’ll get to:
- Create, execute, and continuously develop fixed and dynamic playlists that drive meaningful streaming impact for WMG artists
- Assist in achieving US streaming and revenue goals by collaborating with the Editorial and Marketing Senior Manager
- Work cross functionally with WMG Global Marketing Teams, US labels and artists
- Curate playlists across genres, moods, and seasonal themes, ensuring they resonate with listeners
- Represent the Topsify team in internal and external meetings, providing insights and guiding stakeholders on playlist strategy and execution
- Collaborate with DSP account management leads and label marketing teams to develop programs aligned with artist development and label goals
- Partner with tastemakers and curators to expand the reach and credibility of our playlist ecosystem
- Identify and leverage consumer demographics and emerging trends to increase playlist and streaming audience reach
- Track and report weekly playlist performance, offering insights and recommendations for optimization
- Develop and execute streaming strategies for both WMG artists and Topsify playlists on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and Deezer
About you:
- Experience curating music in an editorial/programming role within the music industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workflows, strategies, and analyses effectively
- Experience, knowledgeable, passionate, and curious about Hip-Hop/ Rap/ R&B music
- Creative and in tune with pop culture, digital trends, and industry/technology developments
- Familiar with major streaming platforms and tools (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc.) and analytics tools and platforms
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, or Canva
- Confident presenting analyses and findings to executives or broader audiences
- Able to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and open to sharing ideas and contributing to team discussions
We’d love it if you also had:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Music, Communication, or a related field
- Previous experience in social media or marketing, particularly in the music industry
- Basic design skills using tools like Photoshop, Adobe, or Canva
- Strong network and reputation within the US music industry
- Knowledge or experience working in Latin Music genres

Effective October 1st 2023, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range $18.00 to $20.00 Hourly Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
