Job Summary:

Looking for something new in DX Finance?  This role provides financial support to two recently established functional areas:  DX 2030 Environmental Goals and DX Segment Security.  Together we will work to continuously improve newly created processes, find and sustain best practices, and provide ongoing and ad hoc financial support to these organizations.

 
In this role, you will:

  • Support financial reporting of DX 2030 Environmental Goals by partnering with Corporate Environmental Sustainability, Global Public Policy, and Environmental Sustainability LOB teams
  • Assist with ongoing development of reporting strategy for progress toward 2030 Environmental Goals commitments
  • Provide ongoing/ad hoc financial analysis and consolidation for DX Segment Security
  • Partner with Finance teams across the Segment in support of financial consolidations for these two functional areas

Responsibilities

  • Work to sustain and continuously improve newly created consolidations and reporting processes
  • Coordinate key financial processes (Long-Term Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and Forecasts) for both operating expense and capital budgets 
  • Build financial models and reporting tools, analyze data, and perform ad hoc analyses
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of presentations and communication to audiences of all levels
  • Collaborate across multiple functional areas to provide/receive inputs and collect/share data
  • Understand inter-dependencies, establish critical path, and bubble up key challenges at the appropriate time
  • Positively confront and resolve conflict with sound judgment and a focus on long-term business relationships

Basic Qualifications

  • Track record of implementing new or improving existing processes
  • Effective organizational skills with minimal guidance needed and attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship and partnering skills with the ability to influence, resolve conflict, and drive results
  • Ability to navigate SAP, Excel and PowerPoint and an openness to learn new tools
  • Technical skills to understand data with ability to develop and create new models
  • Ability to craft clear and persuasive presentations/communication to audiences of all levels
  • Ability to understand complex financial concepts and translate them for non-finance partners 
  • Ability to analyze and present complex data to leaders and partners in a way that can be easily understood 
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage time
  • Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of the business, the processes required to support the business, and the development of relationships with various teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
  • Graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
  • Proficiency in Power BI / other data visualization software
  • Experience supporting a global operation

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics
