Wonderful Agency is the award-winning full-service in-house agency that operates as the exclusive creator of marketing, communications, and brand experiences for such iconic businesses as FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos, JUSTIN, Landmark, and Lewis wines, Teleflora, and more. We are looking for two detail-oriented Corporate Communications Coordinators to join our Corporate Communications team and support our internal and external communications needs.

We are looking for two Corporate Communications Coordinators with a strong emphasis on internal and external communications to join our Corporate Communications team. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting high-visibility projects while developing expertise in crisis management and strategic communication, fostering employee engagement, enhancing communication strategies, and ensuring alignment across the organization. You will track emerging issues, support reputational efforts for the company and our founders, craft compelling content, manage internal communications platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, impactful messaging that aligns with our mission and values.

These positions are based in Los Angeles and report to the Director, Internal Communications and the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications.


Job Description

  • Track media, public sentiment, and emerging issues on an ongoing basis using industry-leading media monitoring tools (i.e., Signal AI, MuckRack, Hootsuite).
  • Vet incoming media opportunities, maintain media lists, and develop coverage recaps for clients.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread communications, including internal emails, blog posts, newsletter articles, talking points, backgrounders, FAQs, press releases, and intranet articles.
  • Support internal stakeholders with corporate communications initiatives across Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Environmental Health & Safety, IT, and others.
  • Support with Wonderful Wines community relations efforts.
  • Provide project management support for a diverse portfolio of enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.
  • Manage master communications calendar for various channels and clients.
  • Monitor multiple secondary mailboxes and route inquiries to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Compose engaging and compelling content for corporate social media channels and prepare regular recap reports, ensuring alignment with brand voice and communication strategies.
  • Assist in crafting clear, concise, and accurate messaging during crisis situations.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and awards and rankings opportunities.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support that includes, but is not limited to, scheduling meetings and brainstorm sessions, creating agendas, distributing meeting recaps, supporting tour / event coordination, managing an enterprise-wide email platform, and preparing presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with a variety of corporate communications special projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related business field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or public relations, and desire to grow in the field preferred.
  • Fluency in Microsoft 365, Adobe suite, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with AP style and standard PR media and social media monitoring tools (i.e., Cision, Critical Mention, Notified, Hootsuite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity building PowerPoint presentations and working with digital files and assets (i.e., image resizing, cropping, etc.).
  • Experience assisting with logistics for public events or announcements.
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in learning about agriculture, real estate, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) to effectively support communications strategies across diverse industries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to proactively complete tasks and meet goals in partnership with others and under minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all written, visual, and verbal communications.
  • Strong writer who identifies and develops compelling stories that support organizational goals and business initiatives.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, adapt to change, be open to new ideas, take on new responsibilities, and embrace a growth mindset.
  • Anticipates potential issues and proposes creative, effective solutions.
  • Eagerness to strengthen and refine writing, research, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Curiosity, motivation, and superior listening/comprehension skills.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.

Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
