Responsible for working collaboratively with the social media and PR team and external agency partners to write, produce, guide, and develop social media content and strategies across multiple social media platforms. Responsibilities include but are not limited to content ideation, development, production and editing for content across all platforms, and ensuring content is within the brands voice.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with social media strategy lead as well as external agency partners to ideate and develop video and static content for social media channels or other marketing materials as needed.


Effectively works across all social media platforms, including but not limited to: TikTok, Instagram, Instagram Reels, Twitter, Snap.


Plays an integral role in telling our brands story and fostering meaningful community connections with our social media fan base.


Demonstrates a strategic eye for honing brand voice and engagement on social media channels with the ability to create bespoke social "one-off" content pieces as well as pull from existing content to drive social media goals.


Supports external agency on development of paid social content, may be inclusive of on-site production.


Works with associate social media manager and coordinator to report analytics regularly to key stakeholders.


Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Experience Minimum of 3 experience in a relevant field relating to the role with video editing, photo editing tools and programs mandatory (open to individuals preferred tools)

Ability to use social media management tools and platforms for scheduling and/or video editing

Strong oral and written English communication skills

Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities; demonstrates high degree of follow through

Strong organization skills, with attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels in the organization

Ability to maintain confidentiality with discretion

Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a personal computer. (Ability to travel 15% of the time as business needs require).

The range for this position is $65,900 - $92,300 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
