Peacock Kids is a division within Peacock that develops, produces, and distributes branded and original digitally native content for kids, primarily focused on YouTube.
We’re growing our team of passionate creators who crave the chance to build something new at the epicenter of content, tech, and culture. We need scrappy, fearless leaders who are native to social media; with an eye for branded video marketing and the ability to develop original IP for a digital audience.
Producer, Peacock Kids
Responsibilities:
- Pitch, Develop, and Produce quality branded content that exemplifies the voice of the brands we promote
- Pitch, Develop, and Produce quality original content with a focus on preschool audiences
- Produce and direct crew and talent on location
- Lead and manage 3rd Party production vendors
- Produce multiple shows and videos at the same time across multiple genres and brands
- Partner with Physical Production to develop budgets, shoot and post calendars
- Collaborate with Legal on all contracts and clearances
- Collaborate with Strategy team to identify trends and performance metrics to apply to future Creative
- Write scripts and/or beat sheets, pitches and outlines for brand approval
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in producing digital short-form content, traditional television, or creative brand marketing.
- Especially seeking those with experience producing kids’ content (or a background in child development/education and media). Experience creating content for YouTube Kids a huge plus.
- Must have a strong eye for creative and the innate ability to know when something is or isn’t working for the digital/social space.
- Ability to self-start and work on multiple projects simultaneously with relevant teams and stakeholders
- Ability to develop creative ideas for branded and original content
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to operate efficiently and with empathy in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment
- Ability to prioritize and reprioritize deliverables in the best interest of the team
- Proven track record for delivering on time and on budget while balancing financial and creative priorities. In other words, able to do a lot with less
- Excellent scriptwriting skills
- Ability to film and/or edit highly desired

Eligibility Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
