We are currently seeking a Mgr - Strategic Finance & Corporate Development to join our Strategic Finance & Treasury Team based in our New York, New York headquarters.
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be a clear, confident communicator with a strong sense of judgment and the ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts and distill into a clear, understandable narrative with actionable outcomes. The role will be project-focused and serve across the enterprise with a flexible, innovative, service-oriented approach. This role is for critical thinkers with robust modeling and analysis backgrounds that can bring business clarity into the form of financial and numerical metrics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
  • Support the Strategic Finance & Corporate Development team in preparing analyses and presentations for our executive leadership team and Board of Directors
  • Build comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to support the evaluation of M&A, joint venture partnerships, minority investments, and cross-divisional business development initiatives
  • Assist with the company’s short-term and long-term financial forecasting as well as our key goals, strategies, and tactics
  • Conduct ad-hoc research surrounding the competitive media landscape in order to help inform strategic business decisions
  • Collaborate across business units to help support the development of critical business strategies and use analytical and financial modeling to translate theoretical/conceptual ideas into operational realities, business plans, and budgets. Support in the preparation of resulting strategic review presentations
  • Support capital markets transactions and related debt covenant compliance activities (on a quarterly and annual basis)
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, business consulting, equity research, or corporate strategy and development
  • Prior experience or a strong interest in the media and entertainment industry
  • Must possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and presentation development skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Strong understanding of valuation, finance, and financial accounting
  • Ability to create executive-level presentations with skilled experience in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be proactive and a team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support function to the broader team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact well with partners across all levels of the company

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience.
