Responsible for line producing live tournament coverage (ie. PGA TOUR Live, International Feed of PGA TOUR events) and producing features and other projects/shows as assigned. Assist with the creative development and execution of assigned programming and/or related projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.
  • Minimum five years of experience in production and/or related field. Basic understanding of field production styles and techniques, interviewing, and post-production is preferred.
  • Experience in a live production environment is essential.
  • Strong golf knowledge is preferred.
  • Organization and quick decision-making skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment is a benefit: nonlinear video editing (Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere), non-linear audio editing (ProTools) and computer graphics (Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe After Effects).
  • Experience researching and logging videotape is a plus.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and/or comparable programs).
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Responsible for all show timings, sales element integration, satellite check-in, and network master control integration.
  • Assist Lead Producers and Directors in the production of all live programming.
  • Work alongside show producers to implement feature material into final program or project during live show or on-line edit sessions.
  • Develop editorial skills, production values and writing.
  • Communicate with volunteer spotters on the golf course to help identify players & positions during live tournament golf.
  • Actively contribute ideas in all show and department meetings.
  • Aid show/project producers during all phases of production as required, including miscellaneous administrative duties, filing scripts, music reports, etc.
  • Submit all administrative paperwork including timesheets, expense reports, etc. in a timely manner and prior to any deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime on nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
