VFX Producer

Position Summary

The Jogger Producer role supports Jogger’s Head of Production on larger-scale projects and leads small to medium-sized projects themselves. They are responsible for managing our client’s expectations and budgets. This role works closely with Jogger’s HOP, Jogger’s artists, and Cut+Run’s Executive Producer, HOP, and staff producers to ensure a smooth and thoughtful workflow from offline to online work. This position will report to Jogger’s Head of Production and will work alongside the Cut+Run Production Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains day-to-day project and artist needs.
• Provides support to the Jogger team, including posting files for review, QCing, inspection of art elements provided by clients, file deliveries, and long-term tracking of assets.
• Provides clear and timely communicated realities and solutions in all facets of the post process.
• Coordinates with clients, vendors, networks, and platforms to confirm delivery specifications and deadlines.
• Works with clients to collect all necessary information for finishing and final delivery (i.e. redpen notes, delivery matrix, platform specifications, slate/account information, etc.).
• Coordinates and manages the distribution of assets to the Jogger team, including branding guidelines, video files, audio files, and graphics to and from clients.
• Performs quality control checks on files to ensure that they meet client satisfaction and industry standards.
• Shares final master and deliverables links as needed to clients and ensures that all assets are delivered accurately and on-time to their respective destinations.
• Tracks and confirms receipt of all delivered content, following up with clients, traffickers or networks as needed to resolve any issues.
• Works with the Vault Manager on managing and maintaining an organized database (BrickFTP, etc) of all final project assets, ensuring that files are properly labeled and easily accessible for the Jogger team and clients. Includes the distribution of project assets, including master video files, audio files, and graphics to clients and/or vendors.
• Works with the Vault Manager to organize all project backups and archives.
• Tracks Jogger staff artist’s hours on various projects and helps actualize ongoing projects for invoicing.
• Forges strong relationships with clients and post-production partners.
• ​​Works closely with Jogger HOP and Jogger LA to help maintain Jogger’s website and social media presence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in post-production for long or short-form projects that are visual effects or motion graphics heavy
• Strong understanding of broadcast, digital, social, and standard delivery specs and media.
• Must have experience and working knowledge of VFX budgets and shooting board breakdown/assessment.
• Experience in cost estimation/scheduling for Finishing/VFX/GFX timelines and mastering final deliverables.
• Skilled in WireDrive and FrameIO; Knowledge of ActualizeIt and BrickFTP a plus.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop/Illustrator/Media Encoder).
• Strong media asset organization and database management skills.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
