I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.The Events team at Dotdash Meredith is responsible for the creation and execution of all Signature Events held by brands across the DDM portfolio. We are building a design team to support these Signature Events.
Dotdash Meredith is looking for a Senior Designer to produce a wide variety of both digital and printed assets (from lamp post banners to websites) for these events. This person must be familiar and comfortable with designing for a large subset of the DDM portfolio of brands.
To successfully produce these events this person will work collaboratively with event producers, DDM executives, local and national talent, photographers, and other various vendors. This is a unique role that will require a broad set of skills. This person must also be willing to travel to all DDM Signature Events to provide onsite art support and art direct photoshoots.

II. Essential Job Functions

Design look & feel of DDM Signature events and their corresponding materials

Facilitate Production of Designed Assets with external vendors

Onsite Art Direction & Design Support at DDM Events
Responsibilities:
-
Concept ideas for the look & feel of DDM events
-
Design printed materials for events and work with print shops to ensure they are produced correctly
-
Art direct photoshoots at DDM events
-
Attend DDM Signature events and provide onsite art support (ensure proper installation of produced artwork, produce last minute changes where needed)

Design and assist in the production of merchandise that is sold at DDM events

Contribute to the design of DDM event advertising and the design of event websites

Collaborate with the Creative Director on bringing DDM brands content to life in physical spaces
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience: 3-5 Years Experience as a designer
% Travel Required (Approximate): Expect to travel 3-5 times per year for events or event prep. 10%

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
