Job Description

This position will champion CAROLINA ASCENT FC & CHARLOTTE INDEPENDENCE brands and their events, ticket sales promotions, sponsors, broadcasts and merchandise with a keen focus on platforms that create revenue for the Club. This position requires a well-experienced individual who understands how to motivate a fan base to convert to purchasing tickets, tune-in to broadcasts and purchases team merchandise as we'll as supporting our sponsors team related initiatives.

The position requires the following skills and management capabilities;
1. Ability to manage a team of direct reports and agency resources to produce compelling advertising and promotions that motivate fan behavior.
2. Ability to manage a creative team to produce a high volume of graphics in an effective and on-time manner.
3. Ability to lead, guide and work with team members to produce and manage team and player Content: including shooting, producing, editing copy, video and photos.
4. Ability to thoroughly plan and execute, on-time, multiple digital assets including team social media channels, websites and email newsletters.
5. Ability to learn, plan, manage and execute new media partnerships to help the Club grow its reach, frequency, awareness and financial goals.
6. Ability to understand and meet the needs of internal customers and provide the marketing, communication and sales resources they need in a timely manner.
7. Ability to understand the Brands, their promise, their unique attributes and how to consistently present the Brands in the creative executions for ticket sales, sponsorship fulfillment, merchandise sales and in-game entertainment.
8. Ability to guide teammates to write a variety of applications including advertising copy, p.a. reads, website content, press releases, etc.
9. Executing Media Operations responsibilities including producing game notes, game photos, player headshots, stats monitoring, line-ups, post game interviews and player content days etc.
10. Ability to work with Agency resources to measure campaign performance, analyze results and make timely tactical adjustments.
11. Ability to work collaboratively, effectively manage assigned employees, and to take direction and execute accordingly.

Administrative Duties
1. Keep an on-going media content calendar that includes at a minimum the campaigns for ticket sales initiatives, sponsorship obligations, merchandise sales and television broadcasting tune-in.
2. Provide media content calendar for weekly Sales & Marketing Meetings for participants to review and provide input and to keep everyone informed.
3. Provide monthly metrics reports for ticket selling campaigns along with recommended adjustments.
4. Produce assigned game day materials such as Line-Up Cards, schedule and any other things as assigned.
5. Ensure all areas of responsibility and appropriate are updated on event Runs Of Show documents as early as possible and at least 2 weeks in advance of the games.
6. Manage company website effectively and timely.
7. Manage assigned budgets responsibly.

Minimum Work Hours Requirement
1. Flex hours on non-game, week days. May work 8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM, 9:30AM-5:30PM.
2. Game days hours will start as required to execute the event effectively and vary depending on game start times.
3. May be asked to attend and support additional team events and projects as needed.
6. It is expected that employee will schedule other activities around company staff meeting, marketing and sales regularly scheduled meetings and one-on-one meetings with supervisor.
