Job Overview
Hollywood Locations, the premier provider of filming locations and special events, is the co-owner and managing partner of Los Angeles Center Studios and isseeking a Sales & Marketing Manager Executive for filming and special events with three to five years of experience for its independent film studio and one of its most iconic filming and event venues in Downtown Los Angeles. The Filming & Events Manager will schedule and oversee all event-related activities for an average of 150-200 days per year.

Responsibilities

The Filming & Events Manager will oversee all event planning and coordination elements, including identifying event logistics and negotiating contracts. They will coordinate event logistics, proactively communicate event information, and set clear expectations for event delivery. Key activities performed by The Filming & Events Manager include account management, business development, market research, sales prospecting, customer relationship management, logistics oversight, revenue management, and communications. Also, prepare proposals for clients and maintain well-organized event records. In addition, they are building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external partners and leveraging these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events.

Experience

We are seeking a candidate with excellent customer relations management and communication skills. Works well under pressure, manages multiple activities simultaneously, and re-prioritizes efforts when plans change or the need arises. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle numerous customer inquiries and manage and work in a fast-paced industry are necessary.

Individuals interested in applying for the position should have a bachelor’s degree and/or Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification. Three to five years of experience organizing and managing film, television, commercial film shoots, corporate meetings, luncheons, weddings, brand activations, concerts, awards shows, and other special tech events are also beneficial. The Salary Range is $70,000 to $75,000, plus a bonus structure, health insurance, and a benefits package.
