Associate Artist

Captured Dimensions is looking for talented artists to join our Production Art team in an Associate level position! This is a full-time position that will be split between remote work and in-office work at our Frisco/Mckinney offices. Artist work will be split across a wide range of subjects, from human and prop photogrammetry to LiDAR environments and asset reconstruction. Knowledge of anatomical sculpting, hard surface modeling, and material work will all be required on a monthly basis. This position will also serve as backup for our Scanning Technicians in the field. You may occasionally be called to go on-location to assist in various methods of scanning for client projects. Professionalism and discretion will be required around high-profile talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Artistic Work:

●Required artistic abilities to be a valuable asset on all projects.

●Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust pipelines appropriately

●Able and willing to work on a wide variety of asset types (human, prop, environment, AI, etc.)

●Able to properly manage time and quality of work

●Able to take singular assets along the entirety of multiple artistic pipelines

Secondary Work:

●Learn and operate multiple forms of 3D scanning rigs

●Travel and support Scanning Technicians

REQUIREMENTS:

●2+ years professional experience in either game development or VFX industries

●Experience with the following software: Zbrush, Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Substance Suite

●Be proactive and self-driven

●Able to be a team player that values working together to accomplish a common goal

●Able to constructively communicate with others and accept criticism

●Be willing to travel, sometimes on short notice, to a variety of locations and provide excellent service to clients

● Be able to work with A-list celebrity talent with professionalism and discretion

● Be willing to work in a variety of circumstances and schedules (outdoors in hot and cold, long shifts, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
