JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment is looking for a Senior Vice President, Talent. The Senior Vice President, Talent primary focus is to define and oversee talent strategy for the new FOX Studio including identifying and bringing in new talent and curating their experience within the new FOX Studio, from the deal-making to onset experience to the premiere/release and beyond (gifting, birthdays, etc.). The role will provide a 360-degree talent oversight, maximizing each piece of talent across the new FOX Entertainment Studio ecosystem.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all talent efforts for the new FOX Entertainment Studio
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams and external partners, including writers, producers, talent, networks, and streamers, to recommend and cast talent for on-camera opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, managers, publicists, and record labels to identify and cultivate talent partnerships
  • Assist FES teams in developing and packaging talent-based projects
  • Pitch new show ideas/concepts to talent and their representatives when necessary
  • Identify and meet with various talents for potential development and future opportunities with FES
  • Generate talent lists, including monthly talent reports with a breakdown of general talent meetings
  • Coordinate with Casting Directors, Talent Consultants, and Talent Bookers to ensure the selection of compelling stunt casting and celebrity guests for FES projects
  • Strategize with talent teams across FOX brands on talent opportunities to build and promote talent
  • Collaborate with the Business Affairs team to provide insight on talent deal terms and establish rates and deal guidelines
  • Build and lead a team that serves as the primary point of contact for talent, working across divisions to align talent and company goals
  • Orchestrate talent brainstorming sessions and presentations for FES to establish priority talent across multiple genres
  • Target breakthrough talent, stay current on industry trends, and establish relationships with emerging talent
  • Attend various shows, festivals, and events to scout potential talent and explore partnership opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking of talent status for projects across all areas
  • Provide talent relations and management services on set as required
  • Organize and lead meetings, mixers, and seminars to expand FES relationships within the talent community

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 15+ years of experience as a casting or talent relations executive in entertainment
  • Strong relationships with agents, writers, and talent across the industry
  • Proven track record of strategic partnership on talent strategy

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $250,000.00-340,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
