Multimedia Sales Executive

Hearst Media and The Canyon News seek an MMSE to maximize advertising sales potential through the development of quality business relationships and the promotion of new/existing print and digital advertising products. Our account executives are selling from a world-class portfolio of digital products and services that position them for great success in all our markets! 

This position provides a great deal of flexibility and work/life balance as the right candidate works with our many longtime local advertisers and new prospects. We pride ourselves on simplifying the marketing process for our customers while helping advertisers track the impact of their campaigns and understand their advertising options. In short, we help our customers grow their business.
 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare advertising campaigns based on client's needs, goals and budget.
  • Present advertising campaigns to clients on print, online and/or niche products.
  • Order advertising campaigns in a timely manner.
  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
  • Meet and/or exceed established monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Attend all training sessions and meetings when scheduled.
 
Knowledge and Skills
  • Customer & personal service skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Written and oral communication skills required. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • College degree preferred in advertising sales.  A high school diploma or equivalent with commensurate experience will be considered.
