Sony Music Entertainment (SME) is looking for a Manager, Distribution Sales to join the Distribution team at Sony US Latin. This role will be a Flex First role (in-office and working remotely).

What you'll do:

  • Provide general administrative support to Sony Music Latin distribution labels & artists.
  • Be an active member of the Distribution team by supporting the project leads across the set-up process.
  • Collect production parts from SML Distributed Labels & deliver these production parts to SML system.
  • Communicate with the Production dept in a daily basis.
  • Coordinate, organize, and send regular team priority project updates to the sales team.
  • Collect, organize, and circulate marketing assets to the sales team.
  • Pull sales report.
  • Maintain a calendar of key anniversaries, cultural moments, and events.
  • Maintain a log with new releases by labels.
  • Communicate with labels/managers/artists directly.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an entertainment company or related law practice.  Distribution or label experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while still paying attention to detail and spotting potential issues is absolutely key.
  • Proven experience in a role that required strict confidentiality and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
  • Spanish-speaking skills a plus but not required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive outlook.
  • Passionate about music, interest in Latin music a plus.
