Job Description

The Multimedia Producer will serve as the backbone in creating and shaping HICONSUMPTION’s video offerings across all multimedia channels - most notably YouTube. Taking a Swiss army knife approach, you will be working alongside our editorial team and video editor to create a steady flow of visual stories that are on brand with HICONSUMPTION’s aesthetic.

Due to our wide content coverage, the ideal candidate will have varied interests in story telling with a special emphasis on watches and everyday carry gear (we're really looking for enthusiasts here).

You’ll wear a lot of different hats, being responsible for videography, scripting, voice narration/audio recording, serve as our on-camera model, organizing/scheduling interviews including outreach and logistics, managing and directing production shoots, and managing product shipments for all of our studio product shoots/reviews and lifestyle/on-location shoots. You’ll also work alongside our video editor to create short-form videos for social platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

Qualifications

-At least 2 years of professional digital media, film, or video editing experience. Commercial studio/agency experience is a plus

-Videography/multimedia production must be your profession and passion - not a hobby

-Strong portfolio, preferably with an emphasis on subject matters related to HICONSUMPTION

-High degree of proficiency in studio lighting setup, camera equipment (including HD/4K cameras), Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator

-Must possess a creative mindset with the ability to research, conceptualize and pitch video ideas

-Excellent grammar skills with a diverse vocabulary and proficient at spelling

-Must possess a creative mindset with the ability to perform in-depth research on anything men’s gear related, with a special emphasis on watches and everyday carry gear

-Must possess a passion and/or deep interest in watches and everyday carry gear

-Strong portfolio, preferably with an emphasis on subject matters related to HICONSUMPTION

-Expert writing skills with a strong attention to detail

-Must meet deadlines and have strong prioritization & time management skills

-Experience multitasking and tracking several projects simultaneously

-Must be intimately familiar with YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok

-Must possess a strong, creative mindset with the ability to research, conceptualize and pitch video ideas

-Ability to coordinate local and remote shoots (booking models/locations as needed) with minimal input or supervision

-Loves working in a team environment, but is also comfortable working autonomously - this role will be in studio Mon-Fri

-Ability to manage remote video editors with minimal input or supervision

-Experience multitasking and tracking several projects simultaneously

-Has a great attitude and an appreciation for well designed products and gear

-Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable receiving constructive criticism

-Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Photography, Film, Communication, or related field of study is preferred

-Photography skills are a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
