Founded in 2009, Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) produces local scripted and non-scripted programming through its network of local production operations in 14 countries. Across the UK - Wall To Wall, Twenty Twenty, Ricochet and Renegade. In Europe - France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands (including BlazHoffski.) In Scandinavia - Norway, Finland, Denmark & Sweden and also in Australia and New Zealand. 

WBITVP’s production operations are responsible for both original programming as well as local versions of formats owned and/or controlled by the Warner Bros. Television Group, such as First Dates, Game Of Games, Who Do You Think You Are? The Bachelor, Child Genius, Little Big Shots, Love Connection, Sorry About That and Impractical Jokers.

Scripted series include Cold Case, Nip/Tuck, The Following, Gossip Girl, The O.C., E.R, The Mentalist and Pretty Little Liars. Where WBITVP has no local production capability, it licenses Warner Bros. formats to third parties. WBITVP also represents formats from a number of international third-party production companies and broadcasters such as North South Prod., Outline Productions and 3Ball Entertainment.

Your New Role...

Managing the administration process and client care of all non volume and volume deal agreements in EMEA and Latin America. Working closely with the other WBITVP departments.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Manage the entire pre-sales and post-sales administration of all packages and volume deals for all media (Pay, Basic, Free, SVOD & FVOD) in allocated territories (specific territory responsibility TBC) 

  • Prepare accurate availability lists through our Rights management system (COSMOS), ensuring at every stage that lists meet all contractual obligations.
  • Ensure that the lists of titles are available for the territory, liaising with Rights Administration, tech ops (availability of tape specs), local format Execs and Opco’s.
  • Prepare contract order forms for deals (by entering the sale – rights / runs / fees etc into Cosmos) and ensure that they are swiftly signed by clients.
  • Understand the details of each agreement and WB’s contractual obligations
  • Liaise with legal teams to ensure riders and legal language all meet with contractual requirements.
  • On an on-going basis collect product and rights information from relevant sources (COSMOS, Rights Admin, Marketing, Format Executives) and confirm rights and clearance dates as quickly as possible
  • On an ongoing basis, collect territory/ IP sales history and previous deal information for each client /territory.
  • Monitor new releases from ITVPUK, Opco’s & various 3rd Party content providers.
  • Work closely and supporting the Sales Administration Manager to prepare quarterly presentations for the UK Opco’s to analyse sales forecasted and actualised.
  • Work closely and supporting the Sales Administration Manager to issue amendment requests as directed by the Executives and enter as Change Orders into Cosmos. Work closely and supporting the Sales Administration Manager to manage post sales with Contracts Admin queries including making revisions on Cosmos.
  • Liaise with Home Office in Burbank and clients to ensure that contracts and amendments are fully executed as quickly as possible.
  • Work with Tech Ops to order broadcast materials via a Material Delivery Request (MDR) in Cosmos.
  • Follow-up on contract payment, liaising with Finance, and chase out-standing payments when appropriate.
  • Generally, demonstrate a good knowledge of the sales effort and the broadcast market for all media in the Territories.

Long Range Plan & Quarterly / Yearly Budgeting

  • Work closely and supporting the Sales Administration Manager to input annual figures and budgets for Quarterly forecasts and the annual five-year Long-Term Planning forecast.
  • Work closely and supporting the Sales Administration Manager to ensure that the financial figures in system are regularly checked and updated. Update and maintain weekly excel based Rolling Forecast tracking system for Worldwide sales for WBITVP Content.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Significant experience in sales administration within television distribution or broadcasting essential
  • Experience of working with / entering data into complex databases
  • Experience of budgeting, long range forecasting and assisting with the creation of five year plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills – good telephone manner
  • Experience and confidence when dealing with clients
  • Self-motivated, can work independently and able to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – in particular good working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of using COSMOS is preferred but not essential
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
