Job Summary/Description:

KBTX seeks a Creative Services Producer to join its award-winning Creative Services Team. In this role, you'll put your creative thinking and skills to work to create exciting and emotion-driven advertising, station promotions, and content marketing alongside an innovative and dynamic team. You'll conceptualize, produce, write, edit, shoot, and share creative across many channels: TV, social media, streaming video & audio, and more.

This person will be responsible for developing cutting-edge commercial and promotional spots for the Bryan/College Station, TX market from concept to completion. Creative scripting, shooting, and non-linear editing experience is a must. This person will be expected to be a team player and participate in all commercial and station marketing production aspects. Must work closely with sales to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials and work with marketing team to assist in the production of station promos.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Concepting, writing, shooting, and editing compelling commercial work for broadcast and digital platforms, as well as assisting in promotional production.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who can multi-task to meet deadlines and work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Assist with station-sponsored events.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience in the field preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years experience in commercial or broadcast production.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products, composition, and design. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Experience shooting on DSLR cameras and other video equipment.
  • Creative writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of production lighting techniques.
  • Knowledge of ENPS and BitCentral a plus.
  • Occasional weekends or after-hours may be required.
  • Part 107 license a plus.
  • A Strong Reel Showing Your Work.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
