GB Entertainment produces, syndicates, and handles all sponsorship/media sales for the weekly multi-platform video interview series, In Depth with Graham Bensinger. In its 15th season, the Emmy-winning show averages 2 million television viewers and 10.5 million digital viewers airing weekly across the US on the local ABC, NBC, CBS, or FOX stations. It additionally re-airs on Bally Sports Nets and NBC Sports Regional Networks, digitally on YouTube and Facebook and TikTok and Snapchat and ESPN internationally. Past episodes range from an afternoon with Jerry Seinfeld, to two days in Serbia with Novak Djokovic, to a week in the Bahamas with Sir Richard Branson, to two days in Monaco with Prince Albert. POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing and Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that foster growth and expand the presence of In Depth with Graham Bensinger across all platforms - but with a focus on growing our streaming, out of home and broadcast presence. This role requires an individual who thrives on collaboration, sales and data-driven decision-making while maintaining strong relationships with third-party platforms and their stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Sales and Relationships
- Sell In Depth to new and existing VOD and FAST and Out of Home products
- Develop and manage relationships with streaming platforms personnel, negotiating agreements, content placement, and promotional opportunities to enhance the company's media distribution potential
- Ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and content promotion
- Build and maintain relationships with key broadcast affiliates to ensure promotion
Content Strategy & Innovations
- Identify and develop innovative content stunts tailored to FAST platforms
- Create and implement marketing initiatives on streaming platforms that drive viewership and revenue
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Promotion and Marketing
- Lead strategic marketing campaigns across multiple streaming platforms, developing comprehensive digital and traditional marketing strategies to maximize audience reach and engagement for the company's media productions
- Working with production team, optimize content presentation and discovery within each platform
- Track and report on promotional performance metrics
- Communicate promotable episode clips to affiliates to promote episodes
- Working with digital team, promote In-Depth brand by creating original, unique and attention grabbing social media content
- Other brand-building marketing initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or sales
- 2+ years working with third-party content providers
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAST and VOD streaming landscape
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Understanding of Out-of-Home media networks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content programming and scheduling
- Comfort with sales strategies
- Comfort with FAST publishing platforms and metadata tools
- Knowledge of streaming platform algorithms and optimization
- Background in entertainment, television or media industry
- Experience with marketing analytics tools and platforms
- Understanding of content licensing and rights management
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their advertising tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
