We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Strategy Senior Manager to lead strategic initiatives, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and long-range planning for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, an ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, and a deep understanding of the entertainment industry. This role is critical in shaping the company’s future through strategic analysis, deal execution, and corporate development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
    • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities to drive growth and value creation.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence for potential transactions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic fit, financial impact, and integration planning for acquisitions.
  • Strategic Long-Range Planning:
    • Drive the company’s long-range strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform long-term business strategies.
    • Present comprehensive strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Corporate Initiatives:
    • Lead and support key corporate initiatives, driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation.
    • Partner with various departments to assess the impact of strategic initiatives on operational efficiency, profitability, and growth.
    • Manage corporate governance processes, ensuring that strategic initiatives align with the company’s mission and values.
  • Financial Modeling & Business Case Development:
    • Build financial models and business cases for strategic projects, providing detailed financial analysis and projections.
    • Ensure that all corporate initiatives are supported by data-driven financial insights and robust analysis.
    • Develop metrics and KPIs to track and measure the success of strategic initiatives and business transformation efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, M&A, or management consulting, with a focus on entertainment or media industries.
  • Proven track record of managing M&A transactions from sourcing to execution, including post-merger integration.
  • Strong background in long-range strategic planning and execution of corporate initiatives.
  • Experience working closely with C-suite executives and delivering board-level presentations.
  • Strategic Acumen: Strong ability to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and execute complex projects.
  • M&A Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in M&A, including deal structuring, financial analysis, due diligence, and integration.
  • Financial Modeling: Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to analyze complex business cases and provide strategic insights.
  • Business Analysis: Ability to synthesize market trends, competitive analysis, and internal data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to drive corporate initiatives from ideation through execution.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and the Board of Directors.
  • Problem Solving: Proven problem-solving capabilities with a high level of attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Entertainment Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the entertainment industry or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
