We are looking to fill multiple merchandising internships within Disney Consumer Products. By applying to this position, you will be considered for opportunities across various teams and projects based in Orlando, Florida. This is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2025 to January 2026.

As an intern, you will sharpen your skills in strategic merchandising within a global organization. You will collaborate with global cross-function partners and gain an understanding of how to build consumer-centric, segmented, and cohesive worldwide product lines by brand. On any given day, you might:
- Manage the sample process, organize incoming samples, oversee room set-ups for product showcases, and ensure timely review and feedback are acquired
- Provide support for key achievement meetings through the development of presentation decks, briefs, and recaps
- Perform the daily implementation of the product strategy, including, but not limited to, marketing activations, event launches, review of sales performance, and ensuring timelines are met
- Maintain accurate data integrity with key systems while leading the creation of the item setup process
- Attend cross-functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication and coordination of other merchandising team projects as needed
- Assist with developing the vision, business strategy, and seasonal product lines while constantly balancing the art and science of merchandising to find opportunities, elevate the brand, and delight our consumer
- Assess benchmark competitors, analyze consumer insights, prepare & maintain pitch decks & POVs on the target guest
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Well-developed interpersonal communication and the ability to establish relationships with internal and external business partners, connecting with a diverse audience
- Awareness of social trends, and a passion for consumer, product, and lifestyle trends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, PowerPoint and Excel
- High energy, customer-centric, self-starter with an ownership mentality and a passion for purposeful merchandising, retail excellence, and data integrity
- Positive demeanor, a desire to learn new skills & processes, responsive to feedback, and ability to pivot based on changing organizational priorities while meeting critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic problem solver, able to process information quickly, offering solutions to challenges while leading multiple priorities and meeting established timelines
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- School curriculum focused on product merchandising, building a product line for a category, or categories of business
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Retail & Fashion, Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at the office
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - January 2026
- Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship
- Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour.
