Job Description
The Producer reports directly to the Executive Producer and is responsible for scheduling guests on our National Television Shows while handling a portion of the business aspect of a production.
Job Tasks
- Qualifies and schedules guest for the show.
- Promotes the company's television shows.
- Possess a "can-do" attitude and is self-driven to accomplish targeted goals.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with business leaders, executives, celebrities and other professionals.
- Research appropriate featured guests for shows by ready press releases and groundbreaking stories from newspapers magazines, podcasts, and TV news, and online.
- Secures featured guests for national television shows. A minimum on average of two per month is required.
- Meets the requirement of 50 new story ideas/potential guests per week due on Mondays of every week.
- Seeks interesting stories that meet the needs of our viewing audiences.
- Inputs featured guests and contacts in company CRM timely.
- Always conducts themselves in a professional manner in the office or on location with management, guests, and others while presenting Star Entertainment, its products, and services in the highest regard.
Educational and Training Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, film, production, business or a related field preferred.
- Prior business-to-business marketing experience a plus

- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of CRM preferred.
Working Conditions
- May be required to stay late or come in early from normal work schedule.
- Work under minimum amount of supervision
- May be required to work on several tasks at the same time.
- May involve intense, and stressful conditions working directly with clients or meeting deadlines.
