FreeCast has been an established and successful company for the last 12 years and is solving the problem of multiple streaming service providers (programming competitors) offering different content and delivery models, by gathering it all into one aggregate platform for consumers. The company's technology platform labeled SmartGuide® collects, consolidates and arranges live linear channels, streaming channels, international/local channels, television programs, movies, regardless if free with ads, pay per view, or subscription based.

FAST Channel Explanation

Free Ad-supported Television (FAST) is free and funded by ads, meaning viewers can watch live and on-demand content without having to pay for a cable package or streaming service. FreeCast is looking for a candidate that is super collaborative, has good communication, can work well under pressure, and take on tasks that come up outside of a job description.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. This person will play a crucial role in the ideation, creation, and implementation of visually stunning motion graphics to elevate our digital content across various platforms.

** Must have and send a portfolio/samples of your previous Motion Graphics work for review.

** This will be an On-Site only position, so please ensure you are prepared to work full-time in our Orlando HQ Office Monday thru Friday before submitting your application. This job requires interaction with the internal HQ Team on a daily basis.

FreeCast would prefer someone who is already local to quickly bring them onboard due to time sensitivity filling this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motion Graphics Design: Conceptualize, design, and create captivating motion graphics from scratch to enhance video content, including title sequences, transitions, lower thirds, and visual effects.
  • Animation: Develop engaging animations and motion sequences that bring ideas and concepts to life, utilizing industry-standard software and techniques.
  • Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and storyboards that effectively communicate ideas and messages to the target audience.
  • Video Enhancement: Integrate motion graphics seamlessly into video content, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and brand identity.
  • Time Management: Manage your time appropriately to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate revisions as needed to refine motion graphics and enhance overall visual impact.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in motion graphics and animation, and apply them creatively to projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film Production, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Motion Graphics Designer, Animator, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical proficiency.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other animation tools.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the media, entertainment, or streaming industry.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation and compositing software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender).
  • Familiarity with motion tracking, compositing, and visual effects techniques.
  • Understanding of video production workflows, including editing, color correction, and post-production processes.

An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.

Additional forms of compensation can be discussed with candidates during the time of a final interview.

Pay: $21.54 - $25.95 per hour
