The Tennessee Titans are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for our Special Events department. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful booking of Special Events at Nissan Stadium. Additionally, the Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and continually seeking opportunities for business growth. Special Events at Nissan Stadium range from conferences and trade shows to corporate events and fundraisers.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales process by focusing on existing relationships & cold calling for prospective clients.
  • Generate revenue through selling non-concert and non-sporting events at Nissan Stadium, to include private field events, club level events, parking lot events, concourse events, etc.
  • Develop sales proposals and collateral to present to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and execute agreements with clients.
  • Execute facility tours to the specific needs and preferences of the client. Highlight features and areas of the stadium that are most relevant to their event type, such as event spaces, seating arrangements, catering options, audiovisual capabilities, and any special accommodations required.
  • Communicate to Special Event Services team, Legal Department, and Accounting departments on all terms of event space agreements.
  • Maintain a collection of potential clients and events by actively prospecting, networking, and following up on leads.
  • Meet individual and departmental sales goals with the support and collaboration of the Special Events Team.
  • Other duties as directed by Director of Special Events.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in an event sales role. Experience within the Sports or Entertainment industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to establish, develop, and maintain good working relationships with clients, sponsors, and staff members.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset with ability to anticipate and provide recommendations based upon the needs of clients.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within deadlines.
  • Resourceful, innovative and possess a “think outside the box” approach to event possibilities in a unique venue setting.
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of event booking systems (preferably VenueOps software & Cvent platform).
  • Proficient financial skills: ability to maintain accurate financial records, deadlines for payment, etc.
  • Outgoing, positive and solution-focused approach to day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
