Job Description

The Coordinator, Sales Planning, will help to assist in financial management and operational reporting requirements for SPE application storefronts with SPE’s new and existing global clients focused on new technologies & formats. This person will support the SVP, Sales Planning and Operations, to coordinate efforts amongst the various departments at home office e.g., accounting, participations, compliance, procurement, etc. This person will also support the Executive Director, Commercial New Product Development as related to Vendor engagement and payment processing.

The person in this role will provide administrative support to the SVP and project support across the broader Sales Planning and New Media teams, as needed to align partnership requirements with internal and external parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                       

30% - Provides commercial and operational support on new product, service and platform development           

  • Supports direct report to work cross functionally with commercial, finance, operations, legal and go-to-market teams within the Sales Planning and New Digital Media groups
  • Supports direct report to work through and define new business rules and processes to adhere to new service development and product launches

45% - Maintains and tracks finance teams monthly P&L of new media deals and activities.         

  • Budget Management: Providing sales actuals and projections on individual deals and products, and tracking spend and associated deal costs against budget.
  • Invoice Processing:  Align invoices to Product Roadmap, SOWs and budget to manage capital spend against projects and trigger amortization
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure Budget, Actuals and Committed spend is accurately represented in Management dashboards

25% - Administrative and Special Projects

  • Support SVP, Sales Planning and Operations with scheduling and expense management
  • Participate/Manage special projects on an ad hoc basis                                                          

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • General understanding of the TV Distribution business
  • Budget pacing and invoice management
  • Basic understanding of data and reporting requirements
  • Ability to drive efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business processes                  
  • Invoicing and payment management, preferably in Ariba                         
  • Organized, detailed, knowledge of business process management/project management           
  • Ability to flex in a fast pace ever-changing business    
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills

The anticipated base salary for this position is $55,365 to $71,000. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
