Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in annual planning or equivalent large-scale planning operations.
  • Ability to formulate hypothesis, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques to drive solutions for complex problems.
  • Ability to execute, multi-task and lead complex and ambiguous strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

The YouTube Business Central Strategy & Operations Team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy & operations for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across YouTube Business organization to lead the annual planning process, set organization-wide Objective and Key Results (OKRs), lead resource management process for the organization, and undertake special projects to improve how YouTube Business operates.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Solve complex, cross-functional problems to drive impact for YouTube Business.
  • Lead, launch, and land global, strategic, and operational project work streams to help the organization be more effective (e.g., annual OKR planning, budget/HC management, investment framework development).
  • Develop comprehensive strategies that solve business challenges and address the needs of stakeholders across various functions to drive incremental growth.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop insights to help leadership identify opportunities and own executive-level presentations (e.g., quarterly business reviews, etc).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to push projects forward, driving recommendations through to implementation.
