Now is your chance to join our dedicated and highly visible team, with backgrounds in media, marketing, investment banking, and management consulting. Disney Streaming Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team, reporting to the Manager, Strategic Marketing Finance. This position will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across a variety of teams in the marketing and finance organizations and gain broad strategic finance experience in the media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and optimize executive reporting of Direct-to-Consumer Marketing across Global Disney+ and Hulu in support of annual planning, long-range planning, and the bi-monthly forecasting process.
  • Provide executive partners with highly visible, ad hoc analysis and insights after each forecast to support key business decisions.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and opportunities for marketing to make key business impacts.
  • Partner with other Direct-to-Consumer finance and FP&A teams on optimizing the P&L and analyzing the subscriber model and lifetime value.
  • Provide ongoing weekly media spend tracking and reporting, highlighting key business impacts.
  • Find opportunities to streamline reporting practices across platforms and teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Understanding of subscription, direct-to-consumer, and media industry economic models
  • Expert Excel skills; experience building operating models and analyzing large data sets while applying critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills; ability to distill analyses into structured outputs for executive-level deliverables
  • Demonstrate professional excellence, integrity and dependability
  • Strong attention to detail across written and financial deliverables
  • Embrace working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to prioritize and sequence projects of varying complexity and length
  • Ability to multi-task, work well with others in a fast paced environment, and keep supervisor promptly informed

Education And Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant finance/business experience in investment banking, media, entertainment, management/strategy consulting, or similar fields
  • BA/BS required

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $108,200 to $132,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
