Endicott PR Account Coordinator

Account Coordinator Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual for our Account Coordinator position. This is an entry-level position that provides direct support to the firms’ Account Executives. Their main duties include working closely with internal teams to assist in meeting client objectives in PR campaigns. While this position does assist on pr campaigns, it primarily handles administrative tasks that support the overall goals of the firm. The candidate will be expected to perform research, assist Account Executives and President while also handling administrative tasks related to client success along with other departmental responsibilities as needed.

Account Coordinator Responsibilities

Internal Endicott PR Specific Duties:

  • Draft media alerts
  • Research and maintain media lists and audits
  • Contribute to writing Internal company press release and company newsletter per month
  • Assist with social media planning and scheduling of posts
  • Pitch brainstorming
  • Maintain calendars offline and online
  • Maintain periodicals
  • Filing digital paperwork
  • Set up calls/meetings – check voicemail and assist president and account executives
  • Maintain organization of offices
  • Proposals: assist with research and copy for new business proposals

Client Specific Duties:

  • Assist with Google Calendars
  • Client activity reports (weekly and monthly report)
  • Research potential event opportunities
  • Monitor client mentions on social media
  • Assist on-site with events
  • Working on tasks set forth and assigned on weekly calls and staff meeting
  • Assist client account teams
  • Monitoring and tracking client press coverage

Required Skills

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities and resourcefulness
  • Excellent organizational skills and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, Canva, and social media platforms
  • Outstanding writing abilities (press releases, media alerts/advisories, blog posts, and social media copy)
  • Qualifications in communications, public relations, and media relations

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing
  • 1-2 years of experience in Public Relations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
