Job Description
The Universal Studio Group Human Resources team at NBCUniversal is looking for a high-energy, results-driven and innovative HR Administrative Coordinator. The role is a perfect launch pad for someone interested in a career in HR in addition to broad exposure to the enterprise-wide HR organization at NBCUniversal. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our HR team, providing high-level administrative support to the SVP, Human Resources, the USG HR team, and providing broad project support to the organization. This position is a unique opportunity to gain visibility into different parts of the company and to enter into the HR function at NBCUniversal.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the SVP of Human Resources including calendar management, communications, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and expenses
- Provide broad support to the team, to include scheduling and setting up logistics for meetings and events
- Maintain distribution lists and update shared drive files, as well as keeping organization charts current and providing general office support
- Plan logistics for multiple meetings, events, roundtables and learning and development opportunities, including room reservations and technology set-up
- Manage regular and ad hoc reporting on workforce metrics in support of Universal Studio Group, frequently synthesizing data into a cohesive story
- Look at various data points and reports, and flag any discrepancies or point of interest
- Project manage key meetings including preparing agenda, logistics, and creating presentations and reports outlining key objectives
- Assist during meetings with whiteboarding and notetaking
- Participate in and support key HR initiatives, including performance management, succession planning & compensation planning.
- Work on special projects as needed, contributing to USG and companywide initiatives
- Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required
- Serve as a point person on our HR policies and practices helping to answer employee’s questions about payroll, benefits, work-life balance, employee perks, and company policy
- Have the opportunity to learn our HR policies and practices and will be on point to answer and/or refer employee questions about payroll, benefits, work/life, employee perks, PTO, company policies, etc.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in a professional work setting preferably in the HR field within a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook

- Flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities

- Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
- Solid interest in a career in Human Resources and the media industry
- Excellent project management skills
- Prior media/television industry experience preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Collaborative and positive attitude
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
