The Global Distribution Group is responsible for the distribution of series and features to Free TV, FVOD, Pay TV, SVOD, Basic Cable, Pay-per-view, Video-on-demand and Electronic sell-through/download to own (EST/DTO).

 

Commercial Operations facilitates the sales and licensing efforts of Global Content Distribution. Primarily working with the regional sales executives, Commercial Operations supports fundamental processes, from initial sales lead through deal approval in CRM, to complex analytical support to measure deal integrity and drive revenue.

 

What will you be doing?

 

The Coordinator, Commercial Operations handles the administrative support for deal management. A key member of the EMEA Commercial Operations department, the Coordinator provides centralised support for various sales colleagues. Day to day the coordinator will:

 

  • Monitor and process Salesforce CRM deal workflow tasks including customer setup, customer maintenance, deal entry and approval routing
  • Provide operational support to assist sales negotiations including:
    • Request content avails/clearances via internal systems and use avail reports to fulfil various sales requests including curating/formatting lists for external clients
    • Build awareness of business processes and content licensing rules
    • Coordinate with sales, deal management, legal and other internal stakeholders as needed during deal preparation and deal management
    • Monitor and follow up on internal approvals 
  • Support the analysis of features and series offers, by processing internal sales histories and third party market data

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g Salesforce)
  • Time spent working in the entertainment sector and familiarity with industry concepts
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, pro-active
  • Analytical
  • Flexible approach
