Editing Intern

At Barry Katz Entertainment, we are currently looking for an intern who is proficient in editing on Adobe Premiere specifically, though other editing experience is always a plus. As an Editing Intern at BKE, you will be working on a variety of projects: from acting reels to sizzles to social media posts for clients. You will also be assisting with work on CEO Barry Katz’s INDUSTRY STANDARD PODCAST, a behind-the-curtain look at the entertainment business where Barry picks the brains of legendary talent, paying forward the knowledge amassed from his four decade long career as a manager and producer.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere

• Diligent online communicator (texting and email)

• Organized, detail-oriented work style

• Available 2-3+ days each week to devote to BKE projects

While the Editing Intern position is unpaid, the experience of working under Barry Katz will equip you with invaluable knowledge in navigating the entertainment industry. At BKE, interns have the opportunity to participate in a plethora of creative ways as well as attend events for projects that Barry is currently working on. If applicable, you are allowed to use this internship for course credit. You have the freedom to work in-person with Barry or remotely, with flexible hours.
