RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Senior Art Director to join for an approximate 3-month project!

This role requires 5 days onsite in Santa Monica, CA. You must be local to the area for consideration.

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Senior Art Director to develop innovative, data-driven concepts that translate complex needs into simple, intuitive, and customer-focused solutions. From ideation to execution, you will craft high-quality user experiences, including UI designs for voice and screen, interaction models, prototypes, and interactive advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate combines a passion for elegant, intuitive design with strong analytical skills, precise execution, and the ability to bring creative visions to life

As a Senior Art Director, You Will

  • Develop customer-centric solutions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, designers, program managers, developers, and producers to execute compelling creative work.
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative advertising campaigns and experiences.
  • Create campaigns in partnership with Creative Directors, internal teams, and external agency partners.
  • Ensure high-quality design and art direction across multiple touchpoints.
  • Utilize design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint.
  • Apply data-driven insights to refine and enhance creative solutions.
  • Present ideas and campaigns to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Develop creative solutions across various formats, including digital, print, film, social, experiential, and out-of-home.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Work through feedback with legal and PR teams to align messaging with brand and compliance standards.

As an Applicant, You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience driving creative strategy and execution within an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and entertainment industries.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tell compelling interactive stories.
  • Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on campaign impact and measurable results.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, visual design skills, and interactive/digital advertising work.
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, work independently, and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in industry design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma.

Compensation

Pay Range: $80.00 - $92.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidates pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits:

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
