Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to support the successful integration of newly acquired businesses, assets, and catalogs. This role is instrumental in managing the operational, financial, and strategic workflows associated with mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment across key business functions. Responsibilities

  • Client & Asset Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for newly acquired companies, assets, and catalogs, ensuring seamless integration of digital rights, financial data, and operational workflows.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison for acquired entities, providing structured communication, coordinating integration efforts, and streamlining key stakeholder interactions.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee M&A project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all required documentation, assets, and compliance measures are met within established deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Deliverables: Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, Human Resources (HR), and Strategy) to gather, review, and distribute critical acquisition-related deliverables.
  • Financial & Legal Alignment: Partner with internal Accounting and Legal teams to ensure accurate tracking of royalties, contract obligations, and financial settlements related to acquisitions.
  • Operational Integration: Manage cross-functional workflows between departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Technology, and Marketing) to ensure acquired businesses and assets are successfully integrated.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the acquisition integration process, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Technology & Systems Management: Assist in the migration and consolidation of data, assets, and contracts across internal platforms, ensuring compatibility and compliance.
  • Marketing & Brand Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align acquired brand assets with corporate strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and audience engagement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all acquisition-related activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, including digital rights management, licensing, and financial reporting.
  • Data & Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to M&A success, providing reports and insights on the impact of acquisitions and areas for improvement.
  • Support the oversight of D2C marketing, including brainstorm sessions and execution of branding, DSP opportunities, etc
  • Exposure to creating album marketing campaigns and implementing artist development strategies. Including but not limited to: identifying audience targets, planning and executing activations, maintaining overarching album marketing budgets, analyzing impact of marketing drivers, developing artist narrative, cultivation of cohesive brand presence and ancillary revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • In lieu of education in targeted areas, demonstrated experience of 3+ years of hands on Mergers & Acquisition project management experience.
  • 2+ years in a similar role, preferably in M&A, business operations, or corporate integrations within music, entertainment, or tech industries.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, digital rights management, and data integration platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
  • Salesforce / Jira experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Project Management Expertise: PMP Certification is a plus, but not required.
  • International M & A project management experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Meets, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Ability to contribute to ongoing digital marketing initiatives such as: tracking WW growth across artist social channels, ensuring digital/PR is securing site premieres for single audio and music video releases, coordinating content pieces, etc.
  • Ability to manage high-volume tasks, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and track progress using project management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a collective in order to achieve results.
  • Highly disciplined, reliable, and diplomatic, able to gain consensus in order to move projects forward.


Pay Scale

$60,000 - $70,000
