Craft Studios Calabasas is a high-end creative hub for music, podcasts, and content production, working with musicians, podcasters, and entertainment professionals. Our studio is a multimedia powerhouse, capturing podcasts, live performances, music videos, trailers, events, and more.
We are looking for a versatile Camera Operator & Video Editor to help shoot and edit high-quality content for our studio’s clients. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for cinematic visuals, can frame shots effortlessly, and possesses solid editing skills.
Responsibilities
- Film in-studio podcasts, interviews, and live sessions with multiple camera angles.
- Capture music videos, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional material.
- Shoot live events, concerts, and brand activations in the studio and on location.
- Edit footage into polished, high-quality videos, including trailers, pilots, music videos, and short-form content.
- Sync audio from studio recordings to video for seamless production.
- Create social media-friendly edits (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, promo teasers, etc.).
- Apply color grading, motion graphics, and fine-tune visuals for a professional finish.
Who You Are
- Skilled with cameras and studio setups; experience with Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, or RED cameras preferred.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, , or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and framing for both studio and event settings.
- Fast editor with a creative eye, able to turn raw footage into compelling visual storytelling.
- Organized and detail-oriented, managing footage efficiently and delivering clean edits on time.
- Comfortable working with musicians, podcasters, and creatives, with the ability to capture their essence visually.
- Discreet and professional, able to work with high-profile talent.
- Bonus if you have experience with motion graphics and After Effects.
Requirements
- Expertise in video editing software (Premiere Pro, , DaVinci Resolve).
- Basic knowledge of audio syncing, color grading, and motion graphics.
- Experience creating short-form edits for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Familiarity with multi-camera setups and shooting in different lighting conditions.
- Ability to work on-site in Calabasas, with occasional travel for location shoots.
- Flexible availability, with some evening and weekend shoots required.
