About the Role

As a VP of Sales, you will be an important senior Sales & Business Development team member. You will identify, manage, and close new business with prospects, working with a high-performing, team-oriented business development culture. You will be directly responsible for and contribute to our top-line revenue targets. You will be responsible for targeting, outreach, negotiating, and closing substantial revenue with reputable, mid and large-sized brands with the intent of offering Pearpop and our suite of products as a new and highly efficient way to reach audiences by harnessing the power of Influence, On-Demand. The position will report to our CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively identify, contact, and close new business with both new and existing clients to drive revenue growth

  • Assist in developing our sales strategy, build pipelines, and contribute our go to our go-to-market strategy/approach

  • Partner closely with Account Management and operations to ensure an excellent, top-tier, premium client experience

  • Responsible for all aspects of contract negotiation with potential clients

  • Build a foundation of trust with each client either directly or via an agency team

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of media sales experience building a portfolio of new businesses with major brands and agencies

  • Proven track record of developing and closing new B2B deals with brands and media agencies with direct revenue responsibility

  • Competitive nature with a strong passion for exceeding personal and professional goals

  • Consistently meet or exceed pre-assigned KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and activity targets

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both on a team and individually, in a high-energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment

  • Must be quality and detail-oriented with strong working knowledge of the social media, creator, and marketing spaces

  • Strong communication skills to enable positive interaction with all levels/functions within the organization

  • Proven experience adapting and thriving in a constantly changing environment (Startup experience preferred)

  • Social media and Influencer experience, understanding the competitive landscape and new business opportunities, preferred

  • A growth mindset, humility, and passion for BD/sales are a must

Base Salary: $180,000 – $230,000
