Fabletics is currently looking for a Director, Copy.
How Do You Fit In?
Fabletics is seeking a creative and strategic Director of Copy to lead our copywriting team and oversee the voice of our brand across all channels. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a cohesive narrative that aligns with our marketing strategy and resonates with our consumers.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Director of Copy will combine big-picture thinking with attention to detail, ensuring every touchpoint delivers impactful, on-brand messaging.
As the leader of a dynamic team, you’ll be responsible for driving innovative storytelling, managing high-visibility campaigns, and developing best-in-class messaging for product launches, brand initiatives, and digital marketing. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and has a proven track record of crafting engaging, results-driven content.
This position will report to the Creative Director.

What you can bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in creative copywriting, preferably within DTC, e-commerce, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, including managing junior copywriters and freelancers.
- Expertise in multi-channel content creation, including digital, social, email, retail, and experiential.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work, including taglines, campaigns, and storytelling.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a mastery of grammar, style, and tone.
- Passion for storytelling with a sharp eye for detail and ability to maintain a consistent brand narrative.
- Proven experience crafting messaging for diverse audiences, products, and campaigns.
- Familiarity with analytics and consumer insights to inform copy strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing shifting priorities.
What you will do:
- Own the development and maintenance of the Fabletics brand voice across all consumer touchpoints, including digital, social media, retail, and print.
- Drive creative excellence by delivering impactful copy for all marketing channels, such as emails, promos, PDPs, landing pages, in-store signage, social campaigns, and more.
- Partner with the Creative, Marketing, and Acquisition teams to formulate messaging strategies and craft storytelling that connects emotionally with consumers.
- Create compelling campaign concepts, taglines, and narratives to support brand launches, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Pitch ideas and present concepts to internal stakeholders, ensuring buy-in across departments.
- Develop and document guidelines for copy strategy, best practices, and processes to streamline workflows and ensure quality control.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Ensure brand consistency through rigorous proofreading and copyediting processes.
- Stay ahead of industry and cultural trends to inform creative direction and maintain relevance in the market.
- Lead and mentor the in-house Copywriting team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Varied for retail and fulfillment roles
The annual base salary range for this position is from $150,000-$170,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
