Studio Manager and Online Editor
Type: Contract, Part-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Studio Manager and Online Editor to oversee studio operations and manage the post-production workflow.
This dual-role professional will ensure the seamless execution of projects, delivering high-quality trailers for online and television platforms.
The ideal candidate has expertise in editing, color grading, and quality control, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills to manage studio operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Production Management
- Confirm all post-production deliverables adhere to technical specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee the final stages of editing, color grading, and quality control for theatrical trailers.
- Collaborate with producers and clients to understand project objectives and deliver polished trailers that exceed expectations.
- Online Editing
- Implement meticulous color grading using DaVinci Resolve to enhance visual aesthetics and ensure consistency across all footage.
- Optimize trailers for various delivery platforms, employing industry-standard codecs and formats to meet distribution requirements.
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks to guarantee flawless playback, color accuracy, and overall visual excellence.
- Studio Operations
- Manage studio schedules, resources, and workflows to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain and troubleshoot studio equipment to minimize downtime and uphold production quality.
- Lead and mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and maintain a collaborative work environment.
- Technical Oversight
- Stay updated with emerging post-production technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance studio efficiency.
- Ensure all technical setups align with production requirements, facilitating smooth handoffs between departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in online editing and color grading, with proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, technical specifications, and delivery standards digital content.
- Expertise in quality control processes, including playback and color accuracy checks.
- Familiarity with codecs, formats, and optimization techniques for various platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with internal teams, producers, and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a studio or post-production facility.
- Background in trailer editing or similar content.
- Knowledge of additional editing tools and software.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
