Assistant Brand Manager – New York, NY (Hybrid)
Marquee Brands is seeking a self-starter, proactive, and analytical Assistant Brand Manager to join its New York team.

POSITION DETAILS
Under the direction of the Head of Home Brands, the Asst. Brand Manager will provide support to the Brand team, and the brands’ licensing partners, in order to develop and grow an on-brand merchandising assortment of products for the Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse and Sur La Table brands.
Here’s what you will do here
- Partners with the Product Development & Design team to organize and maintain sample libraries.
- Manage product requests for events, meetings, PR, editorial, photoshoots, etc.
- Assist with maintaining product development timelines.
- Organize and set up of team meetings.
- Communicate with wholesale and retail licensees on product development and design requests, time and action calendar and sample and product needs
- Organize and facilitate regular communication and sample tracking with partners to ensure sample comments, revisions, packaging, naming requests, etc. are provided in a timely manner.
- Liaise with marketing, PR and social teams on product information to facilitate packaging, press and social posts.
- Create sales and assortment lists.
- Perform market research and competitive shopping sessions to evaluate the competitive retail landscape.
- Assist on brand management projects as assigned.
You’re going to need this to carry out this job
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandising, product development brand management
- Very strong computer skills: Microsoft Office a must, Adobe Suite a plus
- Must be a self-starter who takes initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills - ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives
- Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and creative environment
- Strong attention to detail

Salary: $60,000-$70,000
