Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role of SVP Scripted Television that reports to the co-CEOs of 5X Media. This role is primarily based in Los Angeles, with some flexibility for remote work. The SVP Scripted Television will be responsible for overseeing the creative development and production of scripted television series across various media platforms, negotiating deals with industry professionals, managing budgets, and mentoring team leaders in the creative development and production of projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in television programming with specific experience in scripted series and prior roles as a VP, SVP or equivalent for a studio, network, cable, or streaming platform.
• Proven leadership experience and strong management skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate creative teams.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of television development, production, financing, and distribution.
• Ability to effectively communicate with producers, writers, directors, agents, actors, and executives.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Experience negotiating talent and producer deals highly preferred.
• Ability to identify new opportunities in the market and to stay on top of current trends.
• Passion for developing and discovering new talent and telling diverse, untold stories.
