Your New Role…

You will support the delivery of Retail Sales Revenue through best-in-class marketing, planning and execution of activations.

You will get the chance to work on the UK Retail plans and product launches that support our slate of Blockbuster Movies and TV shows in 2025/2026.

We strive to be where our fans are, be that in bricks and mortar stores, e-commerce marketplaces, social commerce platforms, direct-to-consumer store fronts, or themed experiences.

To create excitement at the Physical and Digital Retail shelf edge for everyone from Kids to Adults.

Working hand in hand with our Retail partners, our goal is to provide innovative solutions that delight customers, grab attention, and disrupt the regular consumer shopping missions.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Support the Retail Team and assist in the planning and execution of Retail activations across e-commerce Retail Channels.
  • Elevate our engagement with top-tier grocery, specialist, and e-commerce retailers—such as Tesco, Amazon, ASDA, The Entertainer, and Smyths Toys—by delivering exceptional, tailored pitches and PowerPoint presentations under the guidance of the Retail Director.
  • Share with us what is happening in our Market – who is winning in the Back-to-School space? Which new trends or TV shows have associated Product Launches with real impact? Who is capitalising on Tik Tok Shop?
  • Feed into analysis and recommendation reviews post campaign, alongside Warner Bros. agencies, to evaluate campaign performance and help shape future activity.
  • Develop relationships with internal Marketing, Franchise and Finance Teams
  • Leverage your insights into the latest consumer trends and digital landscape to enhance internal and external dialogues with e-commerce stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support such as meeting arrangements, compiling industry research, trade show support and Financial Admin
  • Maintenance of planning documents including the 12-month UK Trade Plan, Retail Summaries and Ad Pub spend.
  • Working closely with the team, the successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of the UK Retail Strategic Plan

Qualifications & Experience...

  • You must be a current University student and in your 2nd year of university, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter who uses initiative to support the Retail Team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook) as well as other internal & external IT systems and user portals
  • Passionate about trends and an interest in global consumer brands
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Some experience with interpreting data and driving data-led solutions would be beneficial.
  • Some commercial awareness and understanding of the E-commerce Retail environment is a nice-to-have.

The Internship…

  • Salary: £25,000 p/a
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: 30th June 2025
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th November (you will not be able to apply after this date).
  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written & video questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th November.
  • Stage 3: Interviews will take place January.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
